Now, take your 1/4 full marker of 50/50 speedflow and coversall
and add about a teaspoon or less of the deck stain/varnish.

Add a heaped teaspoon of Gentian Violet (or a teaspoon or two of the purple stencil paper mix.)
Add a heaped teaspoon of Methylene Blue. (This isnt too important, as I find Gentian Violet works way better.)

Take your straw and "lift" a few drops of the Acetone and/or Xylene into your marker. Roughly 6 drops is heaps.
(You can also use 1k/2k Thinners or just Nail pollish Remover. This is just to give your ink some "Bite" and help it stain.)

Spray some of the RP7 (or WD40) into the lid, a few short quick sprays should do, you dont want too much,
maybe about half a teaspoon or so, and tip it into your marker.
(you can also break open 2 fish oil caps instead, or use some brake fluid, Ive never used brake fluid myself.)
This is just to slow the drying time of your ink, giving it a chance to really soke in, and better chance of staining. It also causes the
buff paint to "bead" off the ink. Ha.

Keep in mind if your mixing your blue pen ink and/or purple ink into your marker, and have used acetone, xylene or whatever in these, you dont need to add more.

Dont fill your marker past the thread, remember, it needs room to put the valve back in, for the fumes of the acetone etc to not pressurise inside the marker, and also just so you can shake the bastard up properly.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Yo, what's the Graphite powder for? Just to thicken it or something?

I grabbed some blue black stamp pad ink and some blue quill ink once, chucked it in with the bic pen stuff....
Was ok ink, bit thin though...

You should give some leather dye a go man, add some of that to your inks....

Here's a quick 5min splash together that goes REAL nice. You can last up to 4 - 5 layers of buff with one of these.  8)

Open your marker up, and 3 1/4 fill will Blue or Purple Grog Ink.
(Pink also looks dope, and I just use grog because I can, guess you can use any brand you like.)

Now, I normally drip in like 3 drops of xylene, and 3 drops of Acetone.

If you've used the Blue Grog, add in a good heaped teaspoon of Methylene Blue Crystals.
If you've used the Purple or Pink, add in a good heaped teaspoon of Gentian Violet Crystals.

Do up your marker, shake it up, and wreck stuff!

Carrying on from the Grog ink post above, Here's the "Bigger Brother" to this recipe...

You will need;

Your empty marker of choice. (I use 15mm Molotow Burners.)
Bottle of Violet Garvey. (this is american price marking ink. Awesome.)
Bottle of Illadell Bleed Through Concentrate.
Xylene/Acetone/1k or 2k Thinners.
Gentian Violet Crystals/Powder.
A Blue Dykem Mop. (Layout Fluid.)

Half Fill your marker with Violet Garvey. This is the Bomb shiz, should stain and heavely bleed through buff just on its own.

Chuck in a well heaped teaspoon of Gentian Violet Crystals.

Dump in a good squirt of the Illadell "Bleed Through Concentrate".

Add in a few drops of Xylene/Acetone.

Top up rest with Dykem Steel Blue. (An Engineers Layout Stain. Supposedly stains metals.)

The Dykem Steel Blue is also a "Mop", so you can just bust straight out onto shiny metal things if you want and apparently stain the crud out of it.
Nice colour too.

And there you have a "Buff S****r".  :!:
This one can come through up to 12 layers of buff.

Now for the monster I created bout a month back, this one is fun, and makes a right mess out of everything!

You will need;

2 Empty glass jars.
Dymark engineers layout staining ink. (Blue or black, both are cool.)
Dykem mop.
Xylene.
Acetone. (or nail pollish remover.)
Raven Oil.
Leather dye. (Purple is best. Black/Red will do.)
Violet Garvey.
Methylene Blue.
Gentian Violet.
An ink to use as a "base".
(I use the "corio special" which also has a green staining additive mixed into it,
I also have a tin of  black "razor Ink" and a blue and a purple bottle of "illadell bleed through ink".)
RP7 (or WD40/Fish oil capsules.)
Illadell Bleed Through Concentrate.
A Maccas straw
A teaspoon.
Gloves.

Your empty marker of choice. Id make sure its a good quality one, as you dont want this leaking ANYWHERE!

Pour some of the Dymark into a jar, bout 1/4 full.
Add the Raven Oil.

You want about a 50/50 mix of Raven Oil/ Dymark.

Now, you will notice this turns to a thick sludge, completely useless in a marker.
Pour in some acetone to thin it back to a good "ink" consistency. LESS IS MORE.
You can always add a bit more, but you cant take any out if you put in too much.
Put the lid on and shake well.

Pour your assortment of "ink bases" into your other jar. Bout a 1/4 full. Just a splash of this, splash of that.
Put the lid on and shake well.
